Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
This policy describes how Pixpad handles your information when you use our image tool landing pages and the Quick Image Editor.
Introduction
Pixpad (“we”, “us”, or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our public image tool pages (such as individual feature landing pages) and the Quick Image Editor (together, the “Tools”).
We designed the Tools so that everyday editing can stay on your device whenever possible, and so that cloud processing for AI features is limited, purposeful, and short-lived.
Scope
This policy applies to visitors and signed-in users who use the marketing tool pages and Quick Image Editor within the Pixpad web application. It does not replace separate policies that may apply to other Pixpad products (for example, the full workspace editor or billing flows) where those products publish their own terms.
Our commitment
Protecting your privacy is central to how we provide the Tools. We collect only what we need to run a feature you request, apply technical and organizational safeguards around cloud processing, and delete uploaded images from our processing environment within two hours after an AI job completes (or fails).
We do not use your uploaded images to train public or third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal data.
Browser-only (non-AI) features
The following capabilities run entirely in your browser. Your image files are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers for those operations:
- Crop / adjust
- Resize
- Compress
- Format convert
- Color adjust
What browser-only processing means
Because these edits stay on your device, we do not receive the underlying image bytes for those tasks. You remain in control of saving or exporting results from your browser.
If you are signed in and separately choose to save an asset to your Pixpad library, that save action follows your account storage settings and is distinct from the browser-only processing described above.
AI features and cloud processing
AI-powered capabilities require sending your image to our cloud infrastructure so we can run the model and return a result. These features currently include background removal (cutout), expand/outpaint, inpaint, and upscale.
When you start an AI task, your image is uploaded securely for processing. After the job finishes or fails, we delete the uploaded source and generated intermediates from our processing storage within two hours. We retain only minimal technical logs (such as timestamps, job status, and error codes) needed to operate and secure the service—not the image content itself.
Account, workspace, and support data
If you create an account or use workspace features, we process account identifiers, authentication data, and project or asset metadata as needed to provide those services. This policy’s image-handling rules focus on the Tools; broader workspace data practices may be described in other Pixpad documentation.
If you contact support, we process the information you provide so we can respond to your request.
Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and monitored infrastructure for cloud AI processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us promptly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data, or to object to processing and request portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
You can avoid AI cloud processing by using only browser-only tools. Closing your browser tab clears locally processed data unless you have saved files to your device or account.
Children
The Tools are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Tools or communicated through other reasonable means where appropriate.
